About the Event
Only have a free day but fancy getting into the countryside? Then join us for one of our favourite walks the fantastic Edale skyline. Let our guides take you along the easy ridges and hills high above the beautiful villages of Edale and Hope. We will even try our hand at some easy scrambling before the easy walk along the tops of this beautiful valley.
The pace will be relaxed with plenty of stops and this is suitable for all levels as long as you can walk a few hours without stopping. The price will be £35 and this includes your guided walk led by qualified mountain guides (no transport, accomodation or food in included).
Participants are required to follow social distancing rules on the walk.
Hand sanitiser will be available.
Your booking is secure - if government guidelines does not allow for the walk to go ahead you will recieve a full refund.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to wear sturdy walking boots/walking shoes as the path is rocky.
Prepare for all weathers on the mountain and bring spare layers and waterproof jacket and trousers.
A day pack (lined with a dry bag / plastic bag) with at least 2 litres of water and a packed lunch with plenty of snacks.
You will recieve a kit list once booked on.
Where do I meet?
We always start and finish the walk near places you can park. The meeting point will be Edale car park at 10.00 AM where you can park. If you are coming up by train the car park is 1 minute walk from the station.
