Adventure Singles Summer Solstice Sunrise (Snowdon)
Time & Location
About the Event
See in the longest day of the year with a sunrise on top of Wales' highest mountain. Don't forget your head torch and flask as we aim to get to the top of Snowdon for a hopefully great sunrise. You will then be guided back down just in time for breakfast!
We will be taking the Llanberis path, considered the easiest route and hopefully offering fantastic views on the journey up. You do not need any previous mountain experience but you do need to be able to walk a good few hours.
The walk will be 9 miles and led by qualified mountain guides so no need to worry about navigation. The pace will be relaxed with plenty of stops and you will receive plenty of support before and during the walk.
This is a great way to meet others from the group and you have the option to be in a pre-walk Whats App group to say hi to everyone.
If you need any advice, kit lists or recommendations before the walk please message.
Please note Summer Solstice is on Monday 21st June. We will be meeting that morning at half past midnight (Sunday into Monday) to see the Summer Solstice in. Meeting point is in front of the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
COVID -19 : You will be responsible for socially distancing on the walk and bringing your own hand sanitiser. If the walk gets cancelled due to restrictions you will receive a 100% refund.
